Location: Warsaw, Poland – Completed: 2012 – Architect: Centralia
This is the narrowest documented residence in the world. While it functions more as an artistic installation, it has all of the amenities of a larger home. The building is suspended between the two neighboring buildings; Electricity is provided by the neighbor, but the house itself has an independent water system. The building varies in width (1.5 meters in the widest spot and .9 meters in the narrowest).
This Triangular shaped section allows for access to air and light and lets the building be only as big as it has to be.
